Three dancers interact with the objects and elements around them.
Solo VI – Wen Cheng Lee
The Taiwanese Wen Cheng Lee moves on and around a dark chest. Behind him there are enormous video images by Quirine Racké, showing moving hands that slowly disappear. Created in 1999 by choreographer Krisztina de Châtel, this performance is back on stage after six years.
Move-trek II – Keyna Nara
Keyna Nara courageously confronts threatening puppets and boots. For her role in Move-trek I in 2004 Keyna was nominated for the “Zwaan” (the Swan) for the best dance achievement, which is the only annual award for an individual dancer. Krisztina de Châtel prepared this solo with object theatre producer Elze van den Akker of Theatre Group Dimenzie. Move-trek II is a shortened version of Move-trek.
Anatomy of Space - Cecilia Moisio
Cecilia Moisio, one of the leading dancers in Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel, is the dancer and the choreographer in this new solo, Anatomy of Space. Artist Bart Visser made several installations for her, which she uses to explore and play with space.
