After thirty successfull years Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel celebrated its last performance on 21st December 2008 in the Stadsschouwburg Amsterdam. Driven by its artistic director and choreographer Krisztina de Châtel a group of talented dancers and professional staff created countless productions with a very own signature.
1st January 2009 Krisztina de Châtel started a new dance company with Itzik Galili: Dansgroep Amsterdam. She will continue creating performances which combine dance, music and visual art, and are often set in unusual (outdoor) locations.

The Plataforma Brasil Holanda has invited several Dutch dance companies to São Paulo for the Conexão Internacional de Dança. After the première of Giubileo Dansgroep Krisztina de Châtel flies to Brasil for a 10 day trip including performances in the theater and on outdoor locations.
